For the vast majority of our work, standard prints, framed prints, backlit installations, standoff mounted pieces, and large format walls, the best production method is UV printing directly onto acrylic.
It produces results that genuinely could not be achieved any other way. The colours are richer. The detail is sharper. The adhesion between ink and substrate is more permanent.
What Is UV Printing on Acrylic?
UV printing is a direct-to-substrate process where UV-curable inks are deposited onto the surface of the acrylic sheet and immediately cured by exposure to ultraviolet light. The ink becomes solid almost instantly, creating a highly durable, dimensionally stable printed surface.
What That Means for Your Print
- Colour accuracy: Minimal shift between file and final output.
- Sharpness and detail: Fine dot patterns preserve intricate image information.
- Durability: Better resistance to scratching, moisture, and UV-induced fading.
- Vibrancy: Colours appear rich and almost self-illuminated on acrylic.
What We Print Using UV Technology
Photography, artwork, Islamic calligraphy, Arabic art, corporate graphics, logos, custom designed compositions, and pretty much anything that can be prepared digitally at the right quality.
Acrylic Sheet Quality Matters Too
UV printing is only as good as the acrylic beneath it. We use premium quality sheets with consistent optical clarity and surface quality, because cheap acrylic creates visible inconsistencies in the finished piece.
Why the Technology Matters
When you commission a premium acrylic print for a space you care about, the technology behind it is not a technical footnote. It directly determines the quality, durability, and longevity of what ends up on your wall.
