A single wide wall is a design challenge. Too big for one standard print, too important to leave bare, and too prominent to fill with something that does not feel considered. Split acrylic prints are one of the most elegant solutions to that challenge.
One image, multiple panels, precisely spaced so the gaps become part of the composition rather than an interruption of it.
Split Print Formats We Offer
- Diptych: 2 panels
- Triptych: 3 panels
- Quad: 4 panels in a row or grid
- Custom panel configurations for unique walls and layouts
What Makes a Great Split Print Image
The image choice and the way it is divided matters enormously. We plan every split carefully so important elements are not awkwardly cut and each panel still has enough visual weight to feel complete.
Spacing, Sizing and Specifications
The gap between panels is a design decision. Too narrow and it feels accidental. Too wide and the image fragments. We recommend spacing based on the wall, image, and scale. Acrylic thickness typically ranges from 4mm to 10mm depending on the installation size.
Mounting Options
Split prints are most commonly mounted with standoff fixings because the floating effect works beautifully across multiple panels, but flush wall mounting is also available.
Where Split Acrylic Prints Work Best
Corporate reception areas, hotel corridors, restaurant back walls, staircase walls in villas, and open-plan living rooms where a single wide wall needs a coherent, intentional focal point.
